Sedation Dentistry - Oral Sedation

Patients who need mild sedation often opt for nitrous oxide, commonly called laughing gas. The next level of sedation is called oral sedation, which is an oral medication that has sedating effects. For more extreme cases, Dr. Suh can administer oral conscious sedation, a combination of oral sedation and nitrous oxide. Dr. Suh has taken sedation courses at DOCS, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He subscribes to a strict protocol for patient safety for all sedation techniques.
